On November 23, 2019, Tyshaun Taylor, an 11-year-old African American boy from Cleveland, OH, tragically lost his life after being shot in the chest at a birthday party. The incident occurred in the 1800 block of East 97th Street near Chester Avenue. Tyshaun was taken to University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
