In the evening hours of May 5, 2025, a tragedy unfolded in the Dellwood area of North St. Louis County, Missouri, involving 11-year-old Marshaun Futrell Jr. Police were dispatched to a residence on the 1800 block of Longford Drive around 8:15 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered the young boy suffering from a gunshot wound. He was urgently transported to a local hospital where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
