DeMarco Watson

On a Tuesday night in May, tragedy struck in north St. Louis County. DeMarco Watson, an 18-year-old African American male, was enjoying a spring evening on a porch in the 9800 block of Dennis Drive. He was in the company of several other people, the night calm until three unknown men approached the group. In a sudden act of violence, one of the newcomers opened fire, his target finding its mark in the young man. DeMarco Watson was struck by the gunfire and died at the scene on May 26, 2015.
