On the evening of Friday, August 29, 2025, 17-year-old male Damonte Hightower was involved in a fatal incident in the Spanish Lake area of St. Louis County, Missouri. Authorities were first alerted to the violence around 10:40 p.m. by a ShotSpotter activation, a system designed to detect gunfire, which pinpointed the disturbance to the 11000 block of Larimore Road.
