Damonte Hightower, 17, a male from St. Louis County, was shot late on the night of August 29, 2025, after what police described as a brief argument in the 11000 block of Larimore Road in the Spanish Lake area of north St. Louis County. Officers learned of the shooting through a ShotSpotter activation and a hospital notification; the teenager was taken for emergency treatment and died a short time later.
