On the night of Wednesday, December 3, 2025, violence struck the Spanish Lake area of St. Louis County, Missouri, leaving two young men dead. St. Louis County Police officers rushed to the 12400 block of Horizon Village Drive at approximately 10:25 p.m. after the ShotSpotter gunshot detection system alerted authorities to gunfire in the neighborhood. Upon arrival at the scene, first responders discovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle.
