In the early hours of a cold Monday morning in Jennings, a community in north St. Louis County, the life of a young man was tragically cut short. Just before 2:30 a.m. on January 5, 2026, officers from the St. Louis County Police Department were dispatched to the 2000 block of Switzer Avenue following reports of a shooting.
