In the Walnut Park West neighborhood of St. Louis, a young man's life was cut short on the evening of June 9, 2025. Lamarie Pigram, a 23-year-old male from Ferguson, Missouri, was found on the ground in the 6100 block of Lucille Avenue, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to a call about a shooting at approximately 6:10 p.m. and discovered the scene.
Emergency medical services were dispatched, but Pigram was pronounced dead at the location.
The investigation into the shooting was swiftly taken over by homicide detectives. It was determined that Pigram knew the individual who shot him. According to a probable cause statement, an argument between Pigram and another man escalated, resulting in the fatal shooting. The authorities worked to piece together the events that led to the violent confrontation that ended a life and shook the local community.
In connection with the death of Lamarie Pigram, police arrested 23-year-old Treyvon Perry. The Circuit Attorney's Office subsequently charged Perry with First-Degree Murder and Armed Criminal Action.
