Cortez Scott, a 30-year-old male, was found with life-threatening gunshot injuries in Bellefontaine Neighbors, a city in St. Louis County, Missouri, on the evening of February 28, 2025. Officers from the Bellefontaine Neighbors Police Department responded to a call for service at approximately 8:22 p.m. in the 10100 block of Maraldo Place. Upon arrival, they discovered Scott suffering from severe gunshot wounds. Despite efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
