On the night of April 13, 2025, a large gathering at Fairground Park in St. Louis, Missouri, turned tragic when gunfire erupted, leading to the death of 21-year-old Maurice Roberts-Parnell, an African American male. The incident, which occurred around 11:40 p.m. near Vandeventer Avenue, resulted in four other individuals being injured.
