In the quiet community of Berkeley, a suburb of Saint Louis, Missouri, a young man's life was tragically cut short in a dispute that escalated to fatal violence. Twenty-five-year-old Jacob Volkert was shot and killed on September 7, 2025, in what should have been the safety of his own home. The incident unfolded when Volkert's roommate, Corey J.
