On the morning of Monday, September 8, 2025, police officers in Kansas City, Missouri, were dispatched to the 3200 block of Independence Avenue following a call for service described as a medical emergency of unknown nature. Arriving just before 6:00 a.m., first responders located an unresponsive individual in a grassy area near a storage facility.
