Donte Darius Griffin, 31, male, Black/African American, was found just after midnight on July 23, 2025, lying in the roadway in the 500 block of Edgewood Street in Southwest Baltimore. Patrol officers arrived at approximately 12:05 a.m. and located Donte Darius Griffin unresponsive with an apparent gunshot wound; medics pronounced the 31-year-old deceased at the scene. The killing came during a violent overnight stretch in the city that included other shootings reported around the same time.
