In the spring of 2018, a funeral procession winding its way through the streets of Baltimore was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of 39-year-old Dannta Holmes. On Saturday, March 10th, Holmes was driving in the cortege when he was targeted and shot. The male victim was rushed to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
