Michael McAvoy, 41, disappeared on January 13, 1999, from his home in Kansas City, Missouri. McAvoy, who suffered from neurological problems and depression, was last seen at his residence on Summit Street. On the day of his disappearance, McAvoy had cooked dinner and dessert for his father, who had visited him earlier.
