In the spring of 2023, a young man named Alex Gardner, a 22-year-old student at the University of Missouri, vanished from his home in Kansas City, Missouri. On April 20th, he was last seen in the vicinity of Northwest 59th Terrace and Kirkwood Avenue. He had indicated to others that he was on his way to his father's residence, but he never made it there and all communication with him ceased.
