Tirrell “Dank” Gilmore Sr., 48, a Black male, was found fatally shot on a sidewalk near the intersection of Field Street and Ames Boulevard in Marrero on the night of August 15, 2025. Deputies with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office were called around 9:15 p.m. and discovered him outside Tig’s Neighborhood Bar with multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
