In the late hours of a Friday evening in Louisville, a burst of violence cut short the life of Chester Deon Crawford. The 40-year-old man was in the Portland neighborhood on May 30, 2025, when the fatal incident occurred. Just before 11 p.m., Metro Police received a call reporting a shooting and were dispatched to the area of North 34th Street and Pflanz Avenue.
