In the early hours of a Saturday morning in downtown Louisville, the vibrant life of Larry Montez Walker Jr., a 24-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short. On March 2, 2024, Walker was found with gunshot wounds in the 500 block of South 4th Street. He was rushed to UofL Hospital, where he was pronounced dead just before 8 a.m.
