Scotty Scott, aged 41, died on May 2, 2017, in Louisville, KY, after being shot by his father-in-law, Doug. The incident occurred during a domestic dispute at Scott's home. According to family members, Scott had a history of abusive behavior towards his wife, which escalated on the day of the incident. Scott's father-in-law intervened when Scott allegedly began assaulting his wife, leading to a confrontation that ended with Scott being shot with a shotgun.
