Jeremi Keith Floyd, a 35-year-old male, lost his life in a shooting incident that unfolded in the Newburg neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, on the night of August 11, 2023. The violent event, which resulted in two other individuals being wounded, took place in the 5400 block of Indian Oaks Circle shortly before midnight.
Responding to reports of gunfire, Louisville Metro Police Department officers arrived at the scene to find three adults suffering from gunshot wounds. Mr.
Floyd succumbed to his injuries at the location and was pronounced dead. The two other victims were transported to UofL Hospital for treatment of injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
In the initial stages of the investigation, law enforcement officials stated that they had not yet identified any suspects in the triple shooting. The LMPD's Homicide Unit took charge of the case, and the investigation was described as ongoing. To date, there have been no publicly available updates regarding any arrests or the identification of any suspects in connection with the death of Jeremi Keith Floyd.
