In the early spring of 2024, the life of 20-year-old Corrion Williams, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Louisville, Kentucky. On the evening of March 5th, gunshots echoed inside the Oya Liquor Store located at 2135 Dixie Highway. When police responded to a report of a shooting shortly after 9 p.m., they discovered Williams' lifeless body inside the establishment. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
