In the late winter of 2020, the life of Joshua 'Slim' Edward Godfrey, a 31-year-old Black/African American man, was tragically cut short in Louisville, Kentucky. On the evening of Saturday, February 29, 2020, Godfrey was found shot at a residence located at 3413 Penway Avenue. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, casting a shadow of mystery over the incident.
