Shawn A. Mosley

In the summer of 2022, a quiet street in the Old Louisville neighborhood became the scene of a tragedy that left a family grieving and a community searching for answers. On the evening of August 4th, police responded to a call of a shooting in the 1200 block of South 2nd Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered 51-year-old Shawn A. Mosley, a Black/African American male, inside a vehicle, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
