Death by Force

Richard Fields, a 58-year-old man from Atlanta, was shot late Monday morning on May 26, 2025, at The 500 apartments, 500 Northside Circle NW. Police said officers were dispatched around 10:40 a.m.; by the time they arrived, a wounded man had already been taken by private vehicle to Grady Memorial Hospital, where investigators found him with an apparent gunshot wound. He died at the hospital, and the Fulton County Medical Examiner later identified him as Richard Fields.
