In the early hours of a Friday in Indianapolis, a burst of violence shattered the quiet of an east side neighborhood, leaving a family grieving and a community searching for answers. Gregory Joshua Newsome, Jr., a 34-year-old man, was found outside a home in the 6200 block of Eastridge Drive, near the intersection of East 10th Street and North Arlington Avenue, suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
