James Daniel Maciulla, 34, a white male, was found shot inside his vehicle just after 1 a.m. on August 14, 2025, in Sacramento's William Land Park, near the 1200 block of 13th Avenue and West Land Park Drive. Officers initially responded to a medical call related to a crash; when they reached the scene, they discovered that James Daniel Maciulla, 34, had at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead where he lay.
