Onaje Diallo Lynch, aged 41, tragically lost his life on December 7, 2020, in Sacramento, California. The incident occurred behind a Wienerschnitzel restaurant on El Camino Avenue in the Del Paso Heights neighborhood. Lynch was involved in an altercation with Lorenzo McCoy, who was 34 years old at the time. During the confrontation, McCoy approached Lynch with a loaded and cocked pistol, placing it against Lynch's chest.
A struggle ensued, resulting in the firearm discharging and fatally wounding Lynch. Despite efforts to recover the weapon, it was never found.
