Dewayne Shundell James Jr., a 19-year-old from Sacramento, California, tragically lost his life on November 27, 2020. Dewayne, along with his 17-year-old brother Sa'Quan Reed-James, was fatally shot during a Black Friday shopping trip at the Arden Fair Mall. The incident occurred in the early evening, causing chaos and panic among shoppers. Dewayne was pronounced dead at the scene, while his brother succumbed to his injuries shortly after being transported to the hospital.
