Black/African American male Calvin Goldsmith, age 35, died on February 22, 2016, after gunfire erupted in Sacramento’s Del Paso Heights neighborhood. Around early afternoon, police were alerted to shots in the 3700 block of Branch Street; a short distance away, they found a car that had crashed into a fence near High Street and North Avenue with a 35-year-old driver inside, unresponsive and suffering multiple gunshot wounds.
