On January 29, 2023, at approximately 11:53 a.m., Sacramento Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting on the 6500 block of Freeport Boulevard in Sacramento, California. Upon arrival, they discovered a male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Officers administered life-saving measures at the scene before the victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
