Do you know what happened to David Stewart? In the spring of 2016, the life of a young Black man, David Stewart, was cut short by gunfire on a Thursday night in Boston. At 22 years old, Stewart, a resident of Dorchester who was affectionately known to his friends as "Bones," became another victim of street violence. The incident occurred on May 19, 2016, at approximately 9:15 p.m. in the Codman Square area, specifically near 87 Southern Avenue. This act of violence marked the first homicide in the city since March of that year.
