JaShun Andre Cooley, a 38-year-old resident of Roxbury, Boston, Massachusetts, was fatally shot on August 24, 2024. The incident occurred at the intersection of Washington and Morse streets in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, shortly before 10 p.m..

Cooley was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries but was later pronounced dead. This incident marked the second murder in Dorchester over the weekend of August 24-25, 2024.
