Nicholas William Pontliana, a 68-year-old man, was found dead with at least one gunshot wound in a home along the 4400 block of 71st Street in Sacramento, California. His body was discovered early on the morning of April 18, 2025, following a six-hour standoff between law enforcement and the suspect. Pontliana was one of two victims in the incident, the other being 64-year-old Cynthia Torres, who was also found deceased with gunshot wounds.
