Isaac Glover Winslow Rudulph, a 37-year-old Black male, was shot in the early morning hours of July 24, 2025, in the south Natomas area of north Sacramento. Police were called just after 3:30 a.m. to the 2000 block of West El Camino Avenue, where officers found him with at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital but died from his injuries. Days later, the county coroner publicly identified him by his full name and age.
Detectives gathered evidence at the scene and began searching for a suspect. Later that day, investigators located a man they believed was responsible driving in the area. When officers attempted a traffic stop, the driver fled, prompting a pursuit that ended when he pulled over and was detained. Police arrested 31-year-old Myron Gooch of Sacramento and booked him into the Sacramento County Main Jail on homicide-related charges as well as charges tied to the pursuit.
