In the small community of Sipsey, Alabama, the life of Terrill Marshawn Starks, a male resident of Jasper, was cut short by gunfire on June 11, 2025. The Walker County Coroner's office confirmed that Starks was fatally shot in an incident that unfolded near a ballpark on Ballpark Road, in proximity to the Sipsey Missionary Baptist Church. Another individual was also injured during the shooting.
