On March 9, 2020, 22-year-old Davanta Anderson was fatally shot on the campus of Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The incident occurred between 3:00 and 5:00 a.m., with authorities discovering Anderson's body at approximately 4:20 a.m. Neither Anderson nor the individual involved in the shooting were students at the college, though a student did witness the event.
