On June 19, 2022, at approximately 11 p.m., Tuscaloosa Police responded to reports of a shooting at the Cottages at Lake Tamaha apartment complex, located off Jack Warner Parkway near Nucor Steel. The incident occurred near the complex's front gate and pool area during a large gathering or party.
