On December 6, 2022, 22-year-old Larry Noble Maddix Jr. was fatally shot at the Hodo Haven Apartments in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. when Tuscaloosa Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting at the complex located in the 600 block of 33rd Street East. Upon arrival, officers discovered Maddix deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
