In the quiet community of New-Market, Alabama, the life of 23-year-old Evan Mayomi was tragically cut short in the early morning hours of a July weekend in 2025. A male native of Birmingham, Mayomi was at a residence on Bent Creek Lane when violence erupted. Just before 1:15 a.m., the sound of a gunshot shattered the night, prompting a call to the Madison County Sheriff's Office.
