Justin Jackson, a 32-year-old man from Montgomery, Alabama, was tragically killed on October 4, 2020, in a shooting that authorities later classified as a homicide. The incident occurred in the early morning hours when Montgomery police responded to reports of gunfire near the 1200 block of Whetstone Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found Jackson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
