In the late afternoon of August 12, 2015, the life of 42-year-old Kevin Ledyard, a male resident of Montgomery, Alabama, was cut short. Authorities were called to the scene of a shooting at approximately 3:50 p.m., where they found Ledyard. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The death of Kevin Ledyard marked a grim milestone for the city of Montgomery, becoming the 30th violent death of that year.
Following an investigation into the shooting, the Montgomery Police Department identified a suspect.
Their investigation led to the arrest of 20-year-old Larodney Davis of Huntsville. Davis was taken into custody in connection with the death of Kevin Ledyard.
