A man is found shot outside his vehicle
Justin Patton, a 35-year-old resident of Akron, Ohio, was tragically shot and killed on September 23, 2019. The incident took place at approximately 6:50 a.m. in the parking lot of 275 North Forge Street in Akron. Patton was found fatally shot outside of his vehicle, and despite the initial investigation efforts, the case remains unsolved.
The Akron Police Department has continued its efforts to solve this homicide, and authorities are seeking any information from the public that might help lead to an arrest. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) and the Attorney General's Office have included Justin Patton's case among Ohio's unsolved homicides, in hopes of generating new leads. Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed anything or has any information, no matter how minor, to come forward, as even small details could prove significant in finding justice for Justin Patton and his family.
