On November 15, 2022, 47-year-old Nakel C. Johnson from Montgomery, Alabama, was found deceased in the 2300 block of Boyd Springs Road in Lapine, an unincorporated area spanning Montgomery and Crenshaw counties. Investigations revealed that Johnson was last seen in the 3400 block of Mobile Highway.
