On June 15, 1981, the body of Patricia Berry, a 22-year-old white female, was discovered in her apartment at the Windermere complex on Roswell Road in Fulton County, Georgia. Her body was found face down in the bathtub, nude from the waist up, and partially submerged in water. The cause of death was determined to be manual strangulation.
