In the quiet town of Suwanee, Georgia, the life of 44-year-old Matthew Jones was tragically cut short in what police have described as a case of mistaken identity. In December 2024, the New York Police Department received a letter in which the author confessed to a series of crimes, including the murder of Matthew Jones. Following his arrest in March 2025, Hill reportedly confessed to the killing but claimed that Jones was not his intended target. According to testimony from a Gwinnett County Police sergeant, Hill stated that a schoolmate had told him a 'bad person' who had sexually assaulted her lived at that address, and he had taken it upon himself to 'handle the problem.' Tragically, he went to the wrong home and ended the life of an innocent man. Beside Jones's body, a note was left that read, 'Dog Tags was here,' an apparent alias used by Hill on his YouTube channel. During a preliminary hearing in April 2025, a judge determined there was enough probable cause for the case against Delano Hill to move forward.
