Sara Angelia Holtrop, an 18-year-old female of Guatemalan descent, tragically lost her life on February 10, 2021, in Columbus, Georgia. Sara, who was adopted by David Paul Holtrop and Michelle Bylenga Holtrop, was a senior at Harris County High School and was known for her kind and compassionate nature. She had aspirations of becoming a veterinarian and was considering a career in the Air Force. On the night of her death, Sara was shot and later pronounced dead at Piedmont Regional Hospital.
