In the autumn of 2019, a tragedy unfolded in Columbus, Georgia, forever altering the lives of one family. 45 year old Lachasta Shay Giles, a resident of Columbus, tragically lost her life on Tuesday, October 1, 2019. The circumstances of her death were heartbreaking, as she was found in the parking lot of the Springfield Crossing Apartments. Despite being rushed to the Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital emergency room, she was ultimately pronounced dead.
