In the crisp autumn air of late October in Columbus, Georgia, a tragedy unfolded that would cut short the life of a mother of three. On the evening of October 30, 2024, officers from the Columbus Police Department were dispatched to the Elizabeth Canty Homes located on 20th Avenue following reports of a shooting.
