In a story that began with a deceptive online romance, a young Alabama man was lured to his death in Columbus, Georgia. Travis Henry, a 22-year-old from Montgomery, was discovered on a street in Columbus on June 22, 2020, having succumbed to a fatal gunshot wound to his chest. What initially appeared to be a senseless act of violence was later unraveled by investigators to be a premeditated and callous plot to rob him.
