On March 21, 1973, the bodies of 17-year-old female Ann Eugenia Arceneaux and 19-year-old female Janine Marie Ligotino were discovered in a vacant lot in Gainesville, Florida. Both victims had been stabbed to death. Ann Eugenia Arceneaux, a white female, was originally from New York and had been residing in Gainesville at the time of her death.
